Despite the fact that we are still awaiting his new EP which was supposed to drop last week ( GIVE US THE MUSIC BURNA) Burna Boy is still enjoying a massively productive week as he reconnects with his UK fans and mandem alike. After releasing his new single and passing through Tim Westwood's for a performance Burna has just dropped a video for his single Realest taken off his On A Spaceship album. The mellow song accentuated by guitar licks and synths was produced by Simba Tagz.

Simba Tagz – No pressure (Official Music Video)

In a surprising and muted release Zimbabwean artist Simba Tagz releases his video for No Pressure. The uptempo pop themed song that was produced by Nigeria’s Sarz was first released over a year ago and saw Tagz adopting a more Nigerian Pop style of delivery. The video for the song had been completed and awaiting release for quite some time, I first saw the finished version around February, in a conversation with the rapper a while back he had revealed that the delay was due to compliance issues with TV.

The Chris Shoca directed video has scenes of frolicking in an open vlei cut in between scenes of him spoiling the leading lady, played by Radio host Gamu Chinamasa

Simba Tagz – Zvakanaka Feat XQ & Ba Shupi

Zimbabwean Simba Tagz continues his dalliance with his newly adopted Afrobeat/Pop sound on his new single Zvakanaka. The song feature Urban Grooves star ExQ and the yodel gawd Ba Shupi. Produced by DJ Tamuka who was responsible for several massive hits over the last year it is clear Tagz is positioning this release towards mainstream and radio play. Ironically however, Tamuka produces a song that sounds like something Tagz would make for himself with the strings, beat patterns and pads that we have grown accustomed to hearing from him.
