Originally released in 2008 by Mob Mover Records and 25toLyf (which would later become The African Hip Hop Blog this collaborative compilation was seen as a seminal release that marked a new age in African Hip Hop and collaboration. The album was executive produced by DJ PeeWee (Zambia) and SubZero (Zimbabwe) who met while they were students at Rhodes University.

The album featured collaborations from artists from South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and the legendary Inspectah Deck of the Wu-Tang Clan.
