HALU! Releases The "Rush" Rework
In anticipation of HALU!’s collaborative EP - Eyethu - with singer/songwriter and vocalist Skai, the Afohouse producer drops off a party-starting rework of Nigerian songstress Ayra Starr’s runaway hit “Rush”. In typical HALU! bootleg style, the Android’s re-imagination works a charm by providing a pulsing backdrop that houses the catchy vocal of Ayra.
As the worlds of Afrotech and Afrobeats meld together, this rework maintains an upbeat vibe with a tempo that will have any dancefloor turning up. This alluring combination of electronic elements and pop rhythms gives a sneak peak of the fusions to expect on HALU! and Skai’s upcoming Eyethu EP.
