Jordan MoOzy Takes Control on No Time

Taken off his recently released Kalahari Coyote EP - out 6th June 2025 on all digital platforms - Jordan MoOzy serves up the bouncy No Time. Produced by Fella, the song sees MoOzy encourage his love interest to take note of the urgency of their situation. The song elegantly serves as both a statement of desire and a clarion call to action.

"No Time explores the importance of stability and harmony in relationships and personal endeavours,” Jordan MoOzy reveals. “It’s about taking action and proving one's commitment to their passions and dreams.” Embodying the theme of striving found on his brand new, era-bending body of work, No Time strikes a balance between the worlds of synth pop, R&B and Afrobeats. Anchored by a throbbing bassline and rhythmic kick drums, the track fuses electronic elements with an Afrocentric knack for proverbs to hypnotic effect. 



“The song encourages authenticity,” MoOzy says, “by urging listeners to own their words and actions ("Show me you mean it" and "Rock it baby"). No Time not only serves as the perfect romantic jam, but its infectious grooves are tailor-made for the club as well. “It’s an anthem about living intentionally, being true to oneself, and making the most of life's opportunities.” This duality is present on both the track and MoOzy’s Kalahari Coyote EP, which possesses the same dynamism as the multi-dimensional singer-songwriter.



And the writing stands out with its metaphoric references that simultaneously address the personal and interpersonal. “The song touches on navigating life's challenges ("swimming upstream") and valuing real progress over social media appearances too ("proof is in the pudding, not the screens"). It also cautions against disrupting the flow ("don't rock the boat").”  

MoOzy isn’t just coalescing sounds here; he’s marrying melody and messaging with aplomb.

Jordan Moozy is the embodiment of a Gen Z Afropolitan. The multi-dimensional singer, songwriter and producer was born in Botswana to Zimbabwean parents. His upbringing and travels have taken him across Southern Africa, and these influences have shaped his musical sound and worldview.
